Google AI scientists teamed up with Liverpool FC coaches to create a strategy for corner kicks during a football game. I wonder if Liverpool FC will test it in real life; that could be exciting. Imagine a match between Google-supported Liverpool FC and ChatGPT-supported Arsenal. Given the number of people in Google in this project and their passion for football, one can foresee Google and ChatGPT people forming teams to test their strategies directly on a football field. In the past, research labs like IBM and AT&T had their own amateur league, but the use of corporate supercomputers directly into the game had not been explored… until now.
