Dr. Sadeh on cfDNA

Very interesting lecture by Dr. Sadeh for Boston Epigenetic Society about the successes of H3K4me3 ChIPseq of whole blood samples as a cancer diagnostic tool.   Diagnosis without invasive biopsies may revolutionize precision medicine.

Of course, it is well to learn about challenges that remain.  Dr. Sadeh showed how neuralized subtypes of SCLC are identified with this assay.  But distinctions between non-neuralized subtypes matter too, even though they are less frequent and they do not seem to show up.  Here H3K27ac should help, but as Dr. Sadeh described, this is still an open technological problem.
